Take Me Away

It seems the greatest sin today is admitting we are fallen
We've lost our sense of right and wrong and God's law is forgotten
It used to be a glorious thing and reminded us how perfect and wonderfully we were made
But now we all have strayed so far we don't even want to know it

We have removed it from our walls, our schools, our hearts
And we wonder why things are so bad
Oh don't you dare do the unforgivable
By reminding us that we're lost and there's only one way back
-Even if it works

Where you made creation

A heart that that wants to please you

If it's true we came from nothing
Then we've nothing left to live for

But if God is love and he's in us
While we were sin he died for us
In this his love was shown for us
By Jesus' blood he's covered us

God is love and he is life
He sent his son was crucified
He became our sacrifice
He lives in us, He is our life!

And he takes me away
Into the glory of salvation
He'll free me again
From every single sinful desire
He'll create in me
A new heart that's set on fire
He'll show me his glory
And in him I'll rest forever
